Legal Officer I
Grade KP 51 Position

Requirements
* An upper second-class LLB Degree or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
* A Diploma from the Kenya School of Law after successful completion of the Council of Legal Education Examinations.
* Admission to the roll of Advocates.
* A current practicing certificate.
Duties and Responsibilities include:-
* Facilitating the implementation of all the statutes administered by the Institute.
* Facilitating the registration of trade and service marks.
* Screening and facilitating registration of technology transfer agreements and licences.
Trademark Examiner
Grade KF 52 Positions

Requirements
An upper second-class Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Law, Economics, Arts, Commerce or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
* Receiving, examining and processing applications for trademarks, service marks and geographical indications.
* Assisting in the preparation of applications for publication in the Industrial Property Journal.
* Classifying applications according to the Nice and Vienna International Classifications.
* Assisting in the preparation of certificates for registration of trademarks and service marks.
* Receiving and examining applications for renewal,, assignments, licences, change of name and addresses and preparation of the requisite certificates.
Procurement Officer II
Grade KF 62 Positions

Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management or its equivalent from a recognized Institution
Duties and Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring custody of all the Institute's assets and the records thereof.
* Ensuring proper inventory control
* Maintaining up-to-date database records of suppliers
* Maintaining up-to-date records of inventory stocks, issued stocks and balances.
* Assisting in the procurement/purchasing of stores, and the implementation of Government Supply Rules and Policies.
Internal Audit Assistant
Grade KP 71 Position
Ref: KP7 IA/09/2011
Requirements
At lease KCSE mean grade C plain or its equivalent. A professional qualification in Accountancy or Auditing e.g. CPA, ACCA, CISA of at least part I.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
* Preparing documents for Board Audit Committee meetings in consultation with the Internal Auditor.
* Undertaking ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Internal Auditor
* Follow-up of recommendations by the Internal/Examiner Auditors.
Clerical Officer
Grade KP 111 Position
Ref: KP11 CO/09/2011
Requirements
A Kenyan Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), grade C or its recognized equivalent.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
* General assignments in the industrial property registries
* Compilation of statistical records based on routine or special sources of information
* Data capture for industrial property applications
* Keeping receipts and other records arranged systematically in files.
